The Luxembourger     Victor BETTENDORF  (LUX) and  his  MR. TAC went first in the jump-off and completed their round flawlessly in 38.63 seconds, setting a great time. For Switzerland, Pius SCHWIZER (SUI) qualified for the decision with Chelsea Z. He showed the audience in the arena a very fast ride, but was 0.07 seconds slower at the finish…. Things went even better for  BOND JAMESBOND DE HAY  and Gregory WATHELET (BEL). He initially took the lead with 37.10 seconds… Harry CHARLES, who saddled his Romeo 88 today, gave his all again in this first qualification and was 0.02 seconds faster at the finish. That was the top position. For   BRAZYL DU MEZEL  and   Francois Xavier BOUDANT  from France there were 8 penalty points and 15th place. Richard VOGEL, who is currently number 13 in the world rankings, had the fastest time with UNITED TOUCH S, but a bar had fallen… The „flying Frenchman“ Julien EPAILLARD tried everything again with CANCUN TOREL Z, was also very, very fast, but he didn’t make any mistakes either. Alain JUFER, the second Swiss, had a drop with DANTE MM and ended up in 14th place. Harrie SMOLDERS, the only Dutchman in the jump-off, remained clear, but could not beat Harry Charles‘ time with his URICAS V.D.KATTEVENNEN.

Kent FARRINGTON     and  TOULAYNA   showed the audience an incredible ride immediately afterwards, had no drop and were an incredible 2.31 seconds faster at the finish and thus secured victory in the TROPHÉE DE GENÈVE at the CHI de Geneve in a superior manner, as none of the following riders did managed to push the fast American out of the lead.

For Pedro VENISS and NIMROD DE MUZE Z, a pole fell on the first jump…. For Switzerland, Elian BAUMANN with LITTLE LUMPI E couldn’t take advantage of his chance because he too had a drop on the first obstacle. Christian KUKUK and CHECKER 47 were doing well until the penultimate jump, but then the mistake came at this obstacle… FINN LENTE and José María (jr) LAROCCA and Marcus EHNING with his COOLIO 42 were also no longer able to challenge Kent Farrington for victory .
