Christian Kukuk and Just Be Gentle showed the audience a clear ride in both rounds of the Longines Global Champions League in Stockholm. Philipp Weishaupt and Coby also cleared all the poles in round 1. In the final, the two then had an unfortunate drop. „That was a costly mistake,“ said the rider afterwards. But for the Riesenbeck International team it was still enough for third place. With 153 points, Christian Kukuk and Philipp Weishaupt defended third place in the overall standings of the Longines Global Champions League after seven of fifteen legs.

Ludger Beerbaum was delighted: „It’s going well. The boys and their horses are delivering impressively consistent performances.“ At the eleventh stage from 20 to 23 July in Riesenbeck, they would of course like to start as favourites in front of the home crowd, Beerbaum added.

The victory in Stockholm went to the Stockholm Hearts, who won with four clear rounds and the faster time ahead of the Scandinavian Vikings, who were also clear.    Source: Press release – Pressebüro Susanne Strübel – Another podium finish in Stockholm for Riesenbeck International from 18.06.2023
